Picking Limes

It's not about fruit, it's about choices.

I gave birth to two baby boys with no pain and no meds using Hypnobabies.

It was so easy to learn, I did it mostly in my sleep.  In. My. Sleep.  It was incredible!

What I wish I'd known re: Breastfeeding

There are a million pictures on the web now that tell the same story but this is the one that I found initially (when my first was 2 weeks old or so) that would have changed EVERYTHING for me in those first few days:

I gave birth for the first time in a formula-centric hospital.  Nobody pushed it on me, I wasn't worried they were slipping him bottles in the nursery but I did see a lot of bottles of formula and they were HUGE!  My concept of how much milk I needed to produce in those first few days became totally skewed and I worried constantly that I wasn't producing enough.  If I had been armed with this knowledge from the get-go it would have helped me tremendously.  I'm thrilled to see that this imagery seems to be included now in many hospital's lactation curriculum.
